Taxpayers are no longer able to claim a charitable contribution deduction on their income tax return for cash donations unless they obtain a receipt for the cash donated. Fortunately, registered parishioners who place cash in their envelopes already receive the proper credit on the annual statement provided them by the church, which serves as a valid receipt for income tax purposes.
This change in the law gives us the opportunity to encourage parishioners who have not officially registered with the parish to do so immediately. Furthermore, those who place cash in the collections without using the envelopes should be encouraged to write a check instead to receive a deduction to which they are entitled. Thank you for your attention to this new information.
Direct giving is easy to set up for a checking or savings account. Call Thecla at extension 235 to set up your Stewardship donation. We also have on line giving capabilities. Click here

Any one wishing to conduct a fundraiser on the campus of Holy Trinity Catholic Church or School must complete a fundraising form to have the activity approved and scheduled. No activity will be held without the completed and approved form. You can obtain a form here or in the back of the church or at the Pastoral Center. Please contact Suzy Williams for more information.
You will need Adobe Reader to view the form. If you do not have Adobe Reader click here.
